The Mitsubishi MXZ-SM48NLHZ is a 48,000 BTU low-temperature multi-zone outdoor heat pump, delivering exceptional efficiency for heating and cooling in extreme cold conditions. It can support up to eight indoor units when connected with a branch box, or up to 12 zones when paired directly with City Multi indoor units. Part of Mitsubishi’s Smart Multi Series, this unit is ideal for both residential and commercial applications. Designed for cold climates, it maintains 100% heating capacity even at -5˚F. The system uses the new R-454B refrigerant and is the direct replacement for the MXZ-SM48NAMHZ* model.
