The Mitsubishi MXZ-SM36NLHZ is a 36,000 BTU Hyper-Heat outdoor heat pump designed for exceptional heating and cooling performance, even in sub-zero temperatures. This unit can support a wide variety of indoor units—up to four zones with a branch box, or up to 11 zones when connected directly to City Multi indoor units. As part of Mitsubishi’s Smart Multi Series, it’s ideal for both residential and commercial applications. Note that when connecting to M&P-Series indoor units, a branch box is required and must be purchased separately. The system uses the new R-454B refrigerant and directly replaces the MXZ-SM36NAMHZ2-U1 model.
