Your Purchases of 33 Brands Make a Difference
A portion of every Famous 33 Brands purchase will be donated to your local Feeding America foodbank. Famous Supply will also make product donations to Habitat for Humanity. All to help make our dream of better local communities become a reality.
Food Bank & Feeding America

Food insecurity affects 1 in 7 individuals within the Famous Supply footprint. Together we have provided 500,000 meals, feeding neighbors in OH, PA & WV.
What They Do
There are too many individuals and families struggling with hunger in the United States. In Famous’ footprint alone, 1 in 8 individuals do not know where their next meal will come from. Many of these individuals are our most vulnerable populations - children and seniors. A portion of all 33 Brand purchases will be donated to your local Feeding America food banks that service Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania and will provide food and other essential products to food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters and other hunger-relief programs.
How It Works
- A portion of every purchase is donated to the foodbank.
- The Akron-Canton Regional Food bank divides & distributes donations to other food banks in OH, PA & WV.
- Food bank supplies food & goods to food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters & other hunger relief programs.
- This is how Famous Supply’s donation helps our hungry neighbors in the communities we serve.
Who It Helps
Every meal has a story. Meet Karrie.
As she waits in line at her local food pantry, Karrie tries her best to wrangle her two sons, Logan, 5, and Tim, 4. Like most boys their age, their energy is endless and shows itself through running, wrestling and finding mischief. Today is no different. Karrie is a stay-at-home mom; daycare can be expensive.
And though her husband works, it’s simply not enough to provide for Logan, Tim and Karrie’s two older children whose father passed away. The death benefits they receive pushes the family of six over the income threshold to receive food benefits.
“We make too much money to receive help and it just doesn’t make sense, especially with the cost of food increasing,” she said. “But places like this really help. It helps cut down costs for our budget; the less we have to spend on food means we can cover other bills.” Karrie reflects on the difficult decisions she and her husband have been forced to make at times. “We’ll always choose to feed the kids, but you gotta have the lights on too. We appreciate all the help – it really does make a difference.”
Habitat for Humanity

Together we sponsored affordable housing for 33 families in 2021.
Families partner with Habitat to achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better future.
What They Do
Habitat for Humanity builds strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. They are a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. Habitat for Humanity of Summit County was organized as an affiliate in 1986. They have been building homes with families in Summit County for over 30 years.
Who It Helps
Cheyenne was born and raised in Akron and enjoys spending time with her family. She has a teenage daughter who has special needs. Cheyenne became a Medical Assistant at the age of 18. She began to study Nursing at the University of Akron and now is an Office Manager of a family practice. Being a partner family has done so much for Cheyenne and her daughter. She has learned not only how to be a successful homeowner, but a better person. Learning financial independence from classes offered through the program has helped her tremendously.
Also being at the building sites has shown the many things she probably never would have learned had she not joined the program. Aside from everything she has learned, Habitat has made her want to be a better person and has helped her set and accomplish goals in her life and career.
