Dear Valued Customer,
New health data compiled by our state Health Departments show that our region of the country is unfortunately experiencing a significant increase in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
As a reminder, all associates, customers and visitors are required to wear face coverings or masks (unless a medical condition exempts you from doing so) while on premises in a Famous Supply branch in accordance with our state and local Department of Health guidance. If you do not have a face covering, we will provide one to you free of charge.
We want to be respectful and remember that some of us/you (and family members) have serious underlying health conditions. If wearing a mask creates difficulty due to a medical condition, we want to accommodate you and your business by serving you through our Express Will Call and Curbside Pickup services we offer. Simply order ahead by phone or online, then give us a call once you arrive to our branch and we’ll bring out your products to you.

COVID-19 UPDATE OH Customer Communication as of 3/24/2020
Valued Customer,
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced a ‘stay at home’ order effective at 11:59pm on Monday, March 23 to last through April 6th. He has listed the plumbing, HVAC and construction industries as essential businesses and thus are allowed to continue to work during the stay at home period.
West Virginia, Governor Jim Justice issued a Stay at Home order effective March 24, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. He has listed the plumbing, HVAC, building, construction and other trades as essential businesses that, among other things, support essential infrastructure and are allowed to continue to work during the stay at home period.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf ordered all non-life sustaining business to close their physical locations effective 8:00pm on Monday, March 23 through April 6th. He has listed plumbing and HVAC as life sustaining businesses and thus are allowed to continue to work during the stay at home period.

We understand Famous Supply is essential to your businesses and will do everything we can to get you the products you need to serve your customers. We are following CDC guidelines and are taking special precautions, including practicing Social Distancing of 6’ to protect the health and safety of our associates and customers.

COVID-19 OH Customer Communication as of 3/11/2020
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has dominated the news over the past few weeks, and likely will for some time to come. We deeply value the well-being and safety of our Famous Family and are taking precautionary steps to maintain a healthy environment.
While we do not anticipate interruption in our service to you, inventory position, etc., Famous is taking the following measures:
- Associates will stay home if they have respiratory symptoms (coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath) and/or a temperature above 100.4 F
- Associates will leave work if they develop these symptoms while at the workplace.
- If an associate is unable to get home, Famous will arrange for 3rd party transportation for the associate.
- Famous associates will take the following precautions throughout their day:
- Wash hands upon entering the workplace, after using the bathroom, before meals, and periodically throughout the day.
- Wipe down frequently touched surfaces (door handles, scanners, material handling equipment, counter tops, coffee pots, time clocks, vending machines, filing cabinets, cell phones, keyboard, mouse, desk phone, steering wheel) with disinfecting wipes.
- Cleaning services that support our facilities are being instructed to increase the frequency of cleaning and to disinfect regularly touched surfaces.
- Famous is eliminating all work-related commercial air travel until further notice. Attendance to conferences with international attendees that bring large numbers of people together will be cancelled.
- In-person meetings and visits with Vendors and Reps at Branches, Distribution Centers and in the Corporate Office will be limited. We are encouraging more conference calls and video teleconferencing.
Our counters are fully operational. - Famous is directing associates to work from home in the following circumstances:
- Associates who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
- Associates who have potentially been exposed to COVID-19.
- Associates who have traveled to high risk countries or regions.
- As warranted by the circumstances and/or applicable governmental guidance/mandates.
- Famous will be flexible with paid-time off for associates who may exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 or have actual or potential exposure to someone with COVID-19.

COVID-19 UPDATE PA Customer Communication as of 4/24/2020
Valued Customer,
Beginning May 1, 2020, all businesses in the construction industry in the Commonwealth, including those in new construction, renovation, and repair, as well as land subdivision and design-related field activities, are permitted to maintain in-person operations pursuant to the Governor’s and Secretary of Health’s April 20, 2020 amendments to the Business Closure Orders so long as their activities strictly adhere to this guidance. Construction projects previously granted an exemption to continue in-person operations may continue operations but must adhere to this guidance.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf ordered all non-life sustaining business to close their physical locations effective midnight tonight for two-weeks. Famous Supply is exempt because we are in the Wholesale Trades providing Plumbing and Heating Equipment and Supplies.
