A Premier Destination for Hands-On Trade Education

The Jay Blaushild Training & Education Center (J-TEC) is a 25,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art training facility designed to support the evolving needs of HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, and electrical controls professionals. Attached to Famous Supply’s Cleveland Regional Distribution Center, J-TEC was purpose-built to deliver immersive, real-world education for both seasoned tradespeople and those entering the industry. The center reflects Jay Blaushild’s belief that professional growth is a continuous journey, providing a modern environment where learning, innovation, and workforce development come together.

At the core of J-TEC are twelve fully equipped hands-on training labs and three classrooms, allowing for both technical instruction and experiential learning. Training labs support a wide range of residential and commercial applications, including HVAC installation and maintenance, refrigeration certification, ductless mini-splits, tank and tankless water heating, boilers, hydronics, backflow prevention, and HVAC electrical controls and low-voltage wiring. Through Famous University, the center offers CEU-accredited certified courses, manufacturer-led training, and Build-A-Tech programs, making J-TEC a premier destination for hands-on trade education.

Jay Blaushild, second-generation leader and Chairman of Famous Supply, was widely known and respected for his passion for training and education within the trades industry. J-TEC is attached to at the Famous Supply Cleveland Regional Distribution Center, 5700 Lee Rd S, Maple Heights, OH 44137.

The building sits at the end of a cul-de-sac on the left. Keep right and pull up to the gate; it will lift automatically. Follow the signs for the Jay Blaushild Training & Education Center around the back and park in any space. Please enter through the black and red main entrance and check in at the reception desk.
